July 27 TSSAA State Rules Meeting, Coaches ONLY, Bradley Central High School, 5:30-7:00 p.m.

July 28 TSSAA State Rules Meeting/CAVOA Mtg #1, Officials ONLY, Bradley Central High School, 5:30-7:30

August 1 Choo Choo Preseason Playday, Ooltewah High School & Red Bank High School, ALL DAY

August 4 CAVOA Meeting #2, Site TBD 6-8 p.m.

August 6, CAVOA Meeting #3, Site TBD 6-8 p.m.

August 13, CAVOA Meeting #4, Scoring (All 1-4 years officials MUST attend/makeup meeting for those needing additional meetings), Site TBD, 6-8 p.m.

August 8 Hixson Preseason Playday, Hixson High School, ALL DAY

August 15 Bledsoe County High School Playday, Bledsoe County High School

August 17 TSSAA first matches/All Eligibility due to TSSAA

August 22, Hixson Invitational Tournament, Hixson High School

September 4-5 Choo Choo Tournament, Ooltewah High School, Red Bank High School

September 11-12 Rumble, Baylor, Soddy Daisy High and Middle Schools, Loftis Middle School

October 3 Freshmen Tournament, Bradley Central High School

October 5-9 DI Districts must be completed by 10/9 (actual days may vary)

October 10 DII Regionals

October 13 DIIA and DII AA First Rounds, DI Regionals

October 15 DI Sectionals

October 17 DII A and DII AA Quarterfinals

October 20-22 TSSAA State Volleyball Tournament, MTSU, Murfreesboro, TN

If you are registered in another sport you must register in volleyball also.

As some of you know volleyball is not an easy sport to officiate, you must know the complete rule book and be able to apply those rules in a split second.  Read and study your rule and case book.
